Steven Borg is the “S” in MRS Baking Distribution and a second-generation leader who has spent more than three decades building upon the foundation his family established more than 45 years ago. Having grown up in the business, he understands that lasting success isn’t measured by the number of deliveries made each day—it’s measured by the relationships built over decades.
Throughout his 33 years with MRS, Steven has remained committed to a simple philosophy: take care of your customers, be responsive, and always find a solution. Whether working with an independent coffee shop, a major healthcare system, a hotel, or a corporate dining program, he believes every customer deserves the same level of attention, honesty, and dependable service.
Under Steven’s leadership, MRS has continued to grow its network of more than 40 trusted bakery partners, giving customers access to thousands of quality bakery products while preserving the personalized service that has defined the company since its founding. Over the past 30 years, he has grown alongside the company, beginning as the owner of a single delivery route before expanding into multiple routes. From there, he transitioned into sales, steadily advancing through the organization before becoming a partner.
Having worked in nearly every facet of the business, Robert brings a unique perspective to both customers and the MRS team. He understands the importance of dependable deliveries, responsive service, and building lasting relationships because he’s experienced every step of the process firsthand.

Joey
With more than 20 years of experience in the wholesale bakery industry, Joey brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and strategic insight to MRS Baking Distribution. After joining the company through one of its affiliated businesses, he quickly became an integral part of the leadership team and was named a partner in 2025.
Joey focuses on identifying opportunities for growth, strengthening existing operations, and helping expand the MRS family of businesses.
